The brand synonymous with motorhomes world-wide has unveiled three new models and an off-road caravan in 2017, and all are on display at the Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow in Brisbane this week.
The four berth additions of the Coogee, Kirra and Jervis are built on the impressive and sturdy IVECO chassis. The Coogee provides seamless functionality with a queen island bed on an electric slide out to expand the sleeping area, and features Winnebago’s famously large rear ensuite.
The Kirra encompasses multiple entertaining areas, separate toilet and shower and an intelligently designed drop down rear bed; allowing the club lounge to be transformed into a sleeping area at the push of a button.
The Winnebago Jervis is the first motorhome to feature a twin single bed configuration. Packed with the high-end comforts standard to Winnebago, including spacious rear ensuite, the Jervis also has optional dinette configurations and ample storage throughout.
The addition of the X-Country caravan pack marks the first Winnebago caravan designed for rugged Australian terrain with AL-KO Enduro independent suspension, an off-road tow hitch and an array of additional upgrades. The X-Country pack is available now across the full Winnebago caravan range, allowing customers to take their Winnebago caravan further than ever before.
Since its launch in 2014, under the umbrella of Apollo Tourism & Leisure Ltd, Winnebago Australia has gone from strength to strength, pushing the boundaries in quality Australian design at affordable prices. The new range is no exception – boasting impressive construction methods from durable fiberglass exteriors, to quality internal cabinetry, the new range is refreshing, innovative and provides much needed variety in the market.
Apollo Executive GM of Manufacturing, Paul Truman said “We are rigorously developing product function and form based on valuable feedback from our dealer network, customer base and the general market. We will be progressively rolling out new features bringing increased value and efficiency in our entire range.”
